Blogging For The Low Hanging Fruit

Category: Blogging For Starters

Picture an orange tree. The tree is full of oranges and stands twelve feet off the ground. You want some oranges or traffic for your blog. Your THINK BIG attitude leads you to chase the oranges at the top of the tree. You don't have a ladder though. This paints the picture of how internet marketing works. You can try and skip steps and get the big oranges right away. You'll skip all the smaller oranges at the bottom of the tree. Or you can work your whole way up the tree and master all the oranges. The choice is yours.

blogging long tail keywordsSo where do you start? How do you increase your blogging traffic? Focus on the easiest topics to start blogging about. Don't worry about whose blog is getting the most traffic hits. Make blogging your own race. There are lots of free tools you can use to discover niches that people are searching for. I use Google's free tool in the Adwords area to discover keyword phrases to get more traffic to my blogs. There are also paid tools you can use that provide much more precise and accurate data on searches. I talk about some of them in my Formula 10 Gold Series.

When you start generating blogging traffic, you'll want to track or count your statistics. Google also provides a great free tool called Analytics. This tool is amazing. It provides more than enough data and reports to help you generate more traffic to your blog. It will tell you how people are finding your blog. This will help you do more of the same things that are working.
