Blog Tips On Finding Your Voice Through Writing

Competition is drastically increasing because the web makes it easier to communicate. As people's attention is fought for, the noise increases. How do you make your blog stand out from the noise? Be hot or cold. Show yourself. I read a news article the other day about how some politicians are resisting tools like twitter and myspace. The indstrustiast trust fund babies that have lived on the backs of deceased innovators don't want to embrace the new paradigm because it scares them. One professor taught students the potential backslash of sites like myspace. As we enter the new economy, where integrity is the most scarce and most valuable, people start gravitating towards the real. Many people are scared right now because many factors from the economy to securing a job. A natural cleansing is taking place in the system. And no one is immune. It would be arrogant to preach blogging is the answer to everyone because its not. You have to find your path. In my opinion blogging is the easiest and best trial for an extrovert personality who likes to write. That's the only way you will surrvive and maybe even prosper as we progress further into the information economy. You must increase your integrity and your word as the old system looses its integrity.

Showing Your True Self

All of us have one foot in the industrial age and the information age. We have to play by the old rules still to get along. Its a judgement call as to how much you show of yourself on the web. As you increase your attraction, people will hang on every word you say and critique you. That's a good and bad thing. Its bad because it means you can ruin your reputation by being fake. Its good because it will challenge your growth. Blogging serves as an outlet to grow. If you have to be right all the time in your blog, then you aren't blogging. If you constantly portray an image that's incoherent with your core values, you aren't blogging.

Principles For Blogging In the New Economy

1. Tune Your Blog Message Like a Race Car

2. You don't always have to be right. You don't always have to be liked. If you like 100% of someone, you are probably infacutated and out of touch with reality. If you agree with someone 100% of the time, you probably are brainwashed.
