What is a blog used for? The number one purpose of a blog is to build loyal readers. And the easiest way to build loyalty is by offering valueable help. You see, I am a very eager person. I've never had a problem giving value to people. I've had a problem offering too much on a one-to-one basis and not asking for reciprocation. The funny thing is, with a list, you don't need to ask for reciprocation. When you give value on a mass scale, people will knock down your door. Of course a certain percentage will never reciprocate. The blog helps you keep focused on the people who are genuinely interested. With mass broadcasts, you can stay clear of chain yankers. With a leveraged list, you can pin point who really cares and then give them one-on-one time after they qualify.

So when you start your first blog, add an autoresponder sign up form to your pages. An autoresponder won't help you build a larger readership. It will help you imprint your message in the minds of your readers and build longer lasting relationships. Make sure to introduce your most valuable content first. It only takes about 7-12 repitions to start impressing a person. After that, you can messup a few times without turning off the reader. People start to become afraid they will miss out on the party because they always compare NOW with their memory. All of us live in the past to a certain extint. When you can help a person create a great past, you can become part of their future.

When you show a person a whole new way to see the world, they will remember you. Some people bring flowers. Some people scare you because a lack of emotion or worse than negative emotion. Some people say the statements others are forbidden too. How can you make sure your content is valuable? The ultimate way to create value is by giving people a new experience. Try challenging the status quo.
