Integrity In Blogging

Category: Blogging For Starters

I just called Constant Contact to find out how to request a check for an account I sold last year. They told me I had to reach a minimum of $250.00 to be paid. Does this sound familiar? It sounds like Circuit City offering rebates and then hoping people forget about them. Constant Contact just burned me over a .36 cent stamp. I will never promote them and bad mouth them every chance I get.

How does this relate to blogging? Well, dont burn your readers. Dont force people to read emails! Dont coerce people into buying multiple products! Just dont act like a business ignoramous. By ignorant, I mean ignorant of how money and integrity really works.

By all means, create all the controversial content you can. However, if you start down the path of acting like a drunkin money corporation or power politician, people arent going to read your garbage, no matter how much lip stick you put on it. You need to create content that seeks the truth. That is the purpose of blogging, to seek the truth and brings minds together to add new perceptions. You might be wrong, you might be right. It doesnt matter. Just seek the truth. Get to the bottom line.

Your numbers will not lie. If readers love your work and it opens their minds, the numbers will not lie. Therefore, you will be further from any politican and corporation out there. You will be closer to the truth and one more step ready for the new age. The internet is redefining how brands are born and nurtured. They arent made by blasting propoganda over and over and over on some infomercial. They are built by the people, for the people, with the peoples help.
