Positioning Your Blog And Current Marketing Trends

Category: Blogging For Starters

Google's Blogger caters to bloggers who don't have an ounce of technical know how. This often attracts amateur bloggers who aren't concerned with making any money. The top blogs are powered by platforms like Word Press and custom versions of other platforms. Buzzy Bee, our new blogging platform, combines centralized benefits of platforms like blogger and customizable advantages of platforms like Word Press. We use innovative technology that let's use centralize updates and administration while decentralizing the actual blog so it stays on your hosting. You keep control of your blog and its expansion. We believe that this will help bridge that gap between the technocrats and people who really just want to write their blog. We are aiming to help transform part of the middle class into a new type of class, a creative class.

Here are some dichotomies that are starting to form even greater gaps. An absent middle column signals a widening gap and a lack of any technology to bridge the gap. We marked increasing trends with ++ or -- in the middle.

Word Press  < Buzzy Bee > Blogger, Square Space
Rich Middle Class -- Poor
Technocrat Quasi Programmer/Techie, Script Kiddy User
Advanced Computing   Computer Applicances, Net Books
Trans Human   Natural Genetics
Smart Phone   Regular Cell Phone
Owner  15-30 Year Mortgage -- 60 Year Mortgage, Renter
Secret Societies  Social Networks ++ Random Social
Businesses  Stints ++ Jobs

I just came across an example of these briding gaps. Hostgator has always offered shared hosting and dedicated hosting. They just came out with something called VPS. It gives you some advantages of a dedicated box while still giving you a shared account.
